Girls Lacrosse
Play for your town! Bedford competes against local towns as a member of Mass Youth Lax (MYL). You can learn more about the league here. We have amazing kids, wonderful coaches, and a fantastic parent community that work together so our kids experience (the best) team sport and enjoy our hometown!

Girls Summer Lax
Join the fun! BYL alumni are hosting a 5 week summer clinic series (coached by BHS players!).
BHS varsity players are sponsoring a 5-week summer clinic series.
This program is designed to give our players skill introduction and refinement, game play instruction, and a chance to enjoy playing lax together.
Players will work in groups with other players of similar age and skill levels.
When: Thursday evenings 6:00 - 7:15.

Who: Bedford residents, rising Grade 1 - 8
Where: JGMS J field
Cost: $25
Any cancellations will be rescheduled if fields can be made available.
What does your player need?
- Girls lacrosse stick
- Eye protection (goggles)
- Cleats (soccer ok) or sneakers
- Mouthguard
- Waterbottle
- Bug spray is also recommended
Lacrosse Unlimited in Burlington and Brine Sports in Concord are two local shops that sell lacrosse gear.

Spring Season
Classic (grades 1-8)
Competitive, but fun. Everyone plays.
Games are on Sundays.
Coaches work very hard to ensure equal playing time and an opportunity to play all positions throughout the season.
Select (grades 5-8)
Select teams offer more competitive play, position specialization, and more games for those who love the sport.
Select games are Friday nights, plus one additional practice per week.
Select players MUST play on a Classic team.
Ages
Girls in grades 1-8
Players are on bi-grade teams: Girls 1/2, Girls 3/4, Girls 5/6, Girls 7/8.
When
Lacrosse is a spring sport.
The season runs from late March through mid-June.
Pre-season training information is communicated by coaches.
Where
We practice on town fields (JGMS, Wilson, BHS Sabourin).
Home games are hosted at Sabourin field (the turf).
Away games are generally 20-35 minutes drive.
Practices
Season: Teams practice twice a week on weekdays. 6:00 - 7:30. For Locations, check the Crossbar app once your player is rostered to a team.
- Grades 1/2: Mon + Thurs
- Grades 3/4: Tue + Fri
- Grades 5/6: Tue + Wed
- Grades 7/8: Mon + Wed

- NO GAMES April 20 - Easter
- Week 4 - Sunday April 27

- Week 8 - Sunday June 1
Uniforms
This year the girls program will get new uniforms!

Why can't I register?
If you don't see a registration option in the right hand side of your screen, we are either in-season or still preparing for our next season. The best time to register is September - January for a season that runs March - June.
