This program is for boys in grades 1 & 2 during the 2022-2023 school year.

The Bedford Youth Lacrosse (BYL) boys’ program is a member of the Mass Youth Lax (MYL). Our teams compete in the Northwest Region and play primarily local opponents. Game schedules, directions to the games, and other helpful information can be found on this site.

The 2022 BYL registration fee is $240.00, which includes approximately 18 practices, 8 regular season games, MYL registration and the MYL Jamboree at the end of the season. Pre-season practices or clinics may also be held, coaches’ availability, field conditions, and weather permitting. Bedford Day (registration during September) will engage a $50 discount! Registrations after September and before January 2023 will receive a $25 discount. Children of active military personnel will also receive a $25 discount (to be refunded after registration).

If this program is wait-listed, please register by joining the waitlist. This confirms your interest in the season and allows us to ensure playing time and coaching for as many players as possible.

New players will be required to purchase a game uniform. BYL estimates the 2023 uniform cost to be between $$50 and $75.  A more formal announcement on how to order new uniforms will be sent out and posted on the BYL site.

Cancelations are refunded less a $25.00 processing fee up to March 15th, after which time teams will be set and refunds will no longer be granted.

Based on parent feedback, a new uniform was designed for the 2022 season!  New players will be required to purchase a game uniform. BYL estimates the 2022 uniform cost to be between $75 and $100.  A more formal announcement on how to order new uniforms will be sent out and posted on the BYL site.

Due to the unknown future state of youth athletics in the Commonwealth of MA in 2021, BYL is offering a "register now - pay later" option which can be selected at checkout.

The Bedford Youth Lacrosse (BYL) boys’ Select program is a member of Mass Youth Lacrosse (MYL).

The MYL Select Lacrosse Program offers member towns an additional playing opportunity for their more experienced and committed players to enhance their love for the game and improve their lacrosse skills through competitive games versus the best players from surrounding towns.

The MYL Select Lacrosse Program is a natural extension and fully integrated with the traditional MYL Town Program and is guided by the same mission and goals of the MYL as a whole.  The MYL Select Lacrosse Program practice & game schedule does not conflict with the MYL Town Program weekly practice & Sunday game schedule.

This registration is to register for the Grade 5 & 6 Boys’ Select Team and should be accessed only by those players and families that have been selected.  

Players choosing to play on a MYL Select Lacrosse team MUST also play on their town’s Classic MYL Town team in Bedford or Belmont. In order to play on the Select team, a player must actively participate on the Classic team and be in good standing throughout the season.
